In response to climate change and global carbon reduction trends, TU TUN actively promotes greenhouse gas inventory activities. Through third-party certification by the Industrial Technology Research Institute, we have obtained ISO 14064-1 international standard verification, providing a solid foundation for our carbon reduction initiatives.
📊 Inventory Period and Results
📌 Inventory Period: 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024
📌Total Emissions: 41,363.210 metric tonnes
This audit was entirely led and executed by our in-house specialist team without external consultancy support. This demonstrates our maturity in carbon accounting techniques and autonomous management, while also embodying the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Notably, despite a year-on-year revenue increase exceeding 20% in 2024, total carbon emissions did not rise proportionally. This signifies that Daiton Electric has successfully balanced operational growth with environmental protection. Obtaining verification is not the end goal, but rather the starting point towards sustainability. Moving forward, we will use the results of this audit to plan more concrete carbon reduction actions and implement energy-saving technologies alongside process optimisation measures.
Concurrently, we will enhance internal environmental education and promote full staff participation, embedding ‘carbon management’ as an integral part of our corporate culture. By starting with ourselves and extending this approach throughout our supply chain, we aim to foster a positive cycle across the entire industry.
