Deep within Yushan National Park, along a trail in Yuli, Hualien,
the Walami Mountain Hut quietly watches over passing hikers.
Yet in the past, it lacked even basic power storage equipment.
When night fell, those inside could only rely on each other’s company and flickering candlelight.
For TATUN, this was not merely an engineering challenge—it was a responsibility.
We channeled our expertise into a heartfelt commitment to make this place safer and more convenient.
Carrying heavy equipment, we climbed the mountain path step by step. Under the challenges of altitude and weather, every ounce of weight had to be precisely calculated, and each component modularized to ensure swift installation within the limited timeframe.
Every drop of sweat was dedicated to bringing light to those in the mountains during the darkest hours.
Ultimately, alongside our partners, we established a “solar + energy storage” microgrid at the Walamai Mountain Hut.
This not only provides stable lighting and essential amenities but also ensures hikers can maintain communication during emergencies.
This is more than a technological upgrade—it is a commitment to deliver power to the mountains and safety to the hearts of those who traverse them.
We firmly believe engineering transcends mere data and equipment—it’s about serving nature with expertise and illuminating every corner that needs protection.
